In an interview with GovInsider, Salman Jaffer, Programme Manager for Data Analytics and AI (DNA) at Synapxe, shared his experiences leading various agile teams which contribute to Healthier SG. Salman’s career started in risk management and financial services, before he moved into data science within the fintech industry in Vietnam and other countries.
Currently, he oversees the development of data analytics use cases and dashboards for Healthier SG - Singapore's national population health programme. Salman's experience in managing programmes in different environments has been invaluable in supporting his current work. He emphasises the importance of being agile and product-focused in both the private and public sectors. Through Healthier SG, Singapore aims to improve health outcomes by helping Singaporeans proactively manage their health and lead healthier lives.
